HIS STORY: Meet Baxter! 3.5 years old, this gentle boy was found near Karditsa and has been at the KAZ shelter in Markopoulo Mesogaias ever since. Baxter’s journey has been a tough one—he arrived as a tiny pup with two severely injured legs after being hit by a car. Despite two surgeries, his front leg still didn’t heal perfectly, but he gets around just fine and enjoys a calm life.
At 54 cm tall and weighing about 28 kg, Baxter is vaccinated, neutered, and has tested negative for Mediterranean diseases. Since he’s spent his entire life in the shelter, he doesn’t know much about the outside world, so he’ll need a patient, understanding family who can help him adjust. Baxter gets along well with teenagers and is generally fine on a leash, although city life may be new and a bit challenging for him. He isn’t very active and prefers relaxed walks, making him a great fit for someone looking for a steady companion. He’s also more comfortable with female dogs and gets along best with those who are calm and easygoing.
Please consider giving Baxter the forever home he deserves.
