HIS STORY: Tiny Dexter is longing for a home of his own. This adorable Jack Russell cross, about six years old and weighing 8-10 kilos, has had a tough past and urgently needs either adoption or a foster home. Confiscated from an animal hoarder after a year of neglect, he spent months in a small kennel before being taken in by a local rescue. Now, his current foster care is ending, and he desperately needs a loving home to avoid returning to the kennel, which would be heartbreaking for him.
Dexter is vaccinated, neutered, and in good health. He bonds deeply with those who care for him, showering them with affection and playful energy. He’s housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is incredibly smart, learning quickly. However, he struggles with separation anxiety and cannot be left alone for long hours. He needs a calm home without other animals or children, with an experienced guardian who can provide a stable routine and the patience he needs to adjust. Ideally, his new family would include one or two people working from home or who are not away for long periods.
He isn’t friendly with other animals, so a pet-free home is essential. Positive training would greatly help his socialization.
