HIS STORY: Jasper is a 3-year-old, 28-kilo Greek Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger story. Born in a roadside ditch in northern Greece, Jasper and his siblings were rescued by volunteers. While his 5 siblings found loving homes in the UK, Jasper’s journey took a different turn.
When it seemed Jasper would be sent to an open shelter to spend the rest of his life and maybe not be given a chance to find a home, Greek Stray ResQ stepped in. We couldn’t let that happen to him. Jasper deserved better, and we made sure he stayed safe and cared for while waiting for his chance at a real home. Now, we’re determined to find him the loving family he truly deserves.
For most of his life, Jasper has been at Rudy’s Dog Park in Veroia, patiently waiting for his forever home. He’s an active, loving boy who adores running, jumping (he’s quite the acrobat!), and playing with balls. He gets along with female dogs and some males, though he prefers to eat alone. Jasper would thrive with an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and has plenty of love to give. He’s healthy, vaccinated and neutered.
