We found him before Christmas last year with his leg broken and his bone sticking out unfortunately he was left untreated for a long time and he had developed osteomyelitis and he received immediate treatment for a month. The vet then suggested that we leave the leg as it is because he barely escaped the amputation and the bone had already reformed so it would be extremely painful for him to have surgery and also dangerous because he could end up losing his leg. He is completely functional, he runs and plays normally and he is a real sweetheart. He gets along great with all dogs, cats and people. We will neuter him soon enough so he is ready to be in a home or a foster home if possible.
