HER STORY: Kira is a vibrant and loving 7-month-old puppy from Kozani, Northern Greece. Weighing in at 19 kg, Kira is a courageous little survivor who, despite losing a front leg, is full of energy and affection for everyone she meets. Her young life has been tough—she was likely hit by a car, leaving her leg non-functional and forcing her to drag it painfully along. Taken to the vet, it was decided amputation was her best chance for a happy life.
Since her surgery, Kira has been running and playing like any other pup, her spirit unbroken. She’ll soon be neutered and fully recovered, but heartbreakingly, her foster care is ending, and she may have to return to the streets. A young tripod like Kira simply wouldn’t survive alone. She needs a loving forever home where she’ll be safe and cherished.
