HER STORY: Maria was found near the Athens airport in October 2022. She was stranded at the Koropi metro station with her two tiny puppies. One of our amazing volunteers spotted her, wearing just a small chain around her neck, hungry and desperate for help. After a warm meal, Maria led her rescuer to her puppies. Without hesitation, our volunteer scooped them up and changed their fate forever!
Maria has fully recovered from ehrlichia, and she’s a fantastic, loving mom who is now ready to find her forever home. She’s a sweet, playful soul who radiates happiness and shows gratitude at every turn. While she’s still learning to walk on a leash and needs a little help feeling safe in cars, Maria is vaccinated, sterilized, and ready to love!
