HIS STORY: This 9-year-old male from Patra is a true example of a “Barrel dog.” For most of his life, he was chained to a barrel, sharing his existence with mice and surviving on a diet of stale bread. Through searing heat, freezing cold, rain, and mud, his home remained a metal can.
Forgotten by everyone, Menios endured unimaginable abuse without ever committing any crimes. Thankfully, a volunteer spotted him and rescued him. However, Menios is currently sick—he suffers from Erlichiosis, Leishmanosis, and heartworm.
