HIS STORY: Moglis urgently needs a new home, either for fostering or, ideally, adoption. He is a sweet, young dog with striking green eyes. While he may be a bit shy around new people, he gets along well with the grandchildren of his current caretakers. On walks, Moglis has a tendency to chase cats and may bark at some dogs, but he rarely barks at people, except when they pass by his yard.
Due to his current living conditions, Moglis isn’t properly socialized, but with some training, this can be improved. Importantly, there have been no reports of aggression.
Moglis’ story is quite sad. He was found as a puppy by someone who later became hospitalised and asked a neighbor to care for him. Unfortunately, the original owner never left the hospital, so the neighbour continued to care for Moglis. They lived happily in a village with a big yard until the man became sick and bedridden. Now, his sister is taking care of both Moglis and their elderly mother in Thessaloniki, while also working. She is overwhelmed and unable to give Moglis the attention he needs, despite her best efforts.
