Romi was born and lived in a company in Aspropyrgos. One night, the phone rang and volunteers immediately went to the scene. They found a small puppy frozen and in a semi-comatose state. She was immediately transfered to a veterinary clinic where a blood transfusion was performed on the spot and surgery the next morning, as she had an awn in her pancreas and septic peritonitis. Her health adventures continued for 6 whole months in the clinic, after she needed more blood transfusions and suffered from immune polyarthritis and then, with thrombocytopenia.
All of these were treated, but later she began to experience symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, and anorexia. After countless blood tests and much searching by the vets, it was determined that she suffers from either a food allergy or IFNE (idiopathic chronic inflammatory bowel disease). This means that Romi must be fed the special Anallergenic food only, for the rest of her life.
At a very young age, she faced death many times and her endurance was greatly tested, but she proved how much strength her soul carries.
Hence her name, “Romi”, which means “power”. Today she is in good health condition and at the moment she is being temporarily accommodated at a paid home. So we are looking for a person or family to love her completely, just as she loves!

Our Romi is estimated to have been born in April 2021 and is of medium size, around 20kg. She is friendly with all dogs she has met and lived with, has lived in a house with cats without any problems and likes all people. She is cuddly, playful and very smart.
In the house where she is accommodated, she hasn’t caused any damage and has learned to pee and poop outside. She doesn’t pull on the leash and is very fast learner!
