Shelter Closing – Amyntaio

THEIR STORY:  Meet these three incredible siblings – two boys and one girl, just 9 months old. The boys have been neutered, while the girl is not yet spayed. They are medium-sized dogs, weighing between 24-30kg, and have been beautifully socialized with other dogs. They adore people, but they haven’t been tested with cats.

These pups have spent their entire lives in a shelter in Amyntaio, knowing only kindness from the humans and dogs around them. Sadly, their future is heartbreaking. In just a few weeks, they will be released onto the streets during the harshest months of the year. Night temperatures have already dropped below freezing, snow has started to fall, and their chances of survival are slim.

They have no idea how to find food or shelter, how to navigate life among street dogs, or how to avoid dangers like wolves and bears that descend into villages in bad weather. It’s nothing short of a death sentence for these innocent souls.

The two white-and-black pups are boys, and the black-and-tan is their sister. Despite having so little, they radiate pure joy and happiness every day. Their greetings are heartwarming and uplifting, reminding us of the resilience and love they have to give.

These siblings desperately need a lifeline, whether it’s through adoption, fostering, or a place in a shelter. They don’t need to stay together, but they urgently need a chance.

Please share their story to help them find their miracle. Our hearts are breaking for them, and we know they deserve so much more.
