On our latest TNR mission in Hydra island, we rescued and brought back to Athens a wonderful creature who was in need of further medical care. Unfortunately on the island of Hydra there are not resident vets so we had to bring sweet Themis with us for an eye operation.
She needed one of her eyes to be extracted and is totally blind from the other one.
A few days after the eye extraction we took her back to the veterinarian for a check up and stitches removal. The operation was successful and Themis is adjusting to being safe indoors surrounded by people who only want the best for her. She is looking for a loving permanent home where she can bloom!
